|8 ounces||Canadian bacon -- sliced|
|6 teaspoons||Olive oil|
|1 medium||Onion -- wedges|
|½ teaspoon||Oregano -- crushed|
|4 \N||6\" Pitas -- split horiz|
|3 ounces||Roasted peppers -- strips|
|1 cup||Jack cheese w/jalapeno --|
|¼ cup||Olives -- sliced|
Preheat oven to 450 F. Cut bacon onto ½ inch strips. Heat 2 t oil in small skillet over med-high heat until hot. AAdd onion; cook and stir 3 minutes. Combine remaining 4 t oil and oregano in small bowl.
Place pita breads smooth side up, on baking sheet and brush evenly with oil mixture. Top with onion, bacon and red peppers. Sprinkle cheese and olives evenly over tops. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
