Bing cherry salad #2

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 can (17-oz) pitted Bing cherries; drained
3 packs (3-oz) cherry-flavored gelatin
1 \N Envelope unflavored gelatin
½ cup Cold water
3 packs (3-oz) cream cheese; softened
1 can (20-oz) crushed pineapple
2 \N Bottles (6-oz) Cola beverage
\N \N Chopped nuts (optional)

Heat cherry juice and dissolve cherry gelatin in this. Add unflavored gelatin to ½ cup cold water; add to hot gelatin mixture and stir until dissolved. Mash cream cheese and add to warm mixture. Add 1 cup each of cherries and undrained pineapple. Chill slightly. Add remainder of cherries and pineapple. Add cola beverage, and nuts, if desired. Chill in refrigerator until firm. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
