Beef spread

Measure Ingredient
1 teaspoon Dried; (instant) minced onion
1 tablespoon Dry sherry
8 ounces Cream cheese; softened
2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
1 pack (3-oz) smoked sliced beef; finely diced
¼ cup Green olives; finely diced
1 Loaf cocktail rye bread

In a small bowl, soak dehydrated onion in sherry. In another bowl, blend cream cheese with mayonnaise. Add onion. Stir in smoked beef and green olives. Chill. It tastes better if made ahead. Serve on a good cocktail rye bread.
