Basil garden salad

Ingredients

2cupsTorn leaf lettuce
1cupTorn bibb lettuce
3Green onions with tops; sliced
1mediumTomato; peeled and diced
6Fresh mushrooms; sliced
9Fresh basil leaves; thinly sliced
3tablespoonsOlive or vegetable oil
2tablespoonsRed wine vinegar
¼teaspoonPepper
½teaspoonSalt; optional
½teaspoonSugar; optional

Directions

Toss the lettuce, onions, tomato, mushrooms and basil in a large salad bowl. Combine remaining ingredients in a jar with tight-fitting lid; shake well. Pour over the salad and toss. Serve immediately.
