1 slice | Wheat or milk bread |
2 tablespoons | Sweetened milk |
Prepare coarse pulp from any desired fruit by just mashing with fork.
You may use mango, banana, chickoo, papaya, etc.
Use a transparent small bowl so kids can see the layers.
Place slice of bread at bottom (remove crust keep aside) Sprinkle the milk over it.
Mix together rice, pulp, sugar, cardamom.
Pour over breadslice, set in fridge to chill.
Make crumbs of crust, sprinkle over mixture.
Serve chilled on a hot summer afternoon.
