Rice fruit crisp

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Cooked brown rice
1 cup Packed brown sugar
¼ teaspoon Salt
6 tablespoons Magarine
1 can Pie filling; any flavor -or-
4 cups Sliced fresh apples; peaches, or pears
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
¾ cup Flour

Combine rice, pie filling or fruit, lemon juice, ½ cup brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in greased, shallow baking dish. Mix flour and remaining brown sugar. Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over rice-fruit mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm. Serves 8-10.
