Rice fruit crisp

Ingredients

2cupsCooked brown rice
1cupPacked brown sugar
¼teaspoonSalt
6tablespoonsMagarine
1canPie filling; any flavor -or-
4cupsSliced fresh apples; peaches, or pears
1tablespoonLemon juice
½teaspoonCinnamon
¾cupFlour

Directions

Combine rice, pie filling or fruit, lemon juice, ½ cup brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in greased, shallow baking dish. Mix flour and remaining brown sugar. Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over rice-fruit mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm. Serves 8-10.
