8 \N | Granny smith apples; peeled and sliced (8 to 9) |
1 \N | Bag frozen peaches; small |
¼ cup | Frozen raspberries or blueberries; partially thawed |
¼ cup | Pecans broken into small pieces |
¼ \N | Cube butter; (not too much) |
⅛ cup | Brown sugar |
1 cup | Lowfat granola or museli |
\N \N | Cinnamon; to taste |
\N \N | Nutmeg; to taste |
1 \N | Pear; peeled and sliced |
Place apple slices in a small glass baking dish 9 x 12 inch to the top. Add peaches, pear, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix and bake in microwave for approximately 12 minutes. (Until apples are soften, but not mushy.) Remove and add raspberries or blueberries. Gently fold mixture together. Add granola. Serve in individual dishes. Top with whipped cream and a splash of raspberry syrup or with lowfat vanilla frozen yogurt.
