Teriyaki sauce #2

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Soy sauce (prefer Kikkoman)
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Japanese rice wine (sake)
1 teaspoon Grated fresh ginger
1 Clove garlic; minced

Put all in a sauce pan and bring to boil then simmer to blend ingredients.

Let cool and there it is.

For an interesting touch. When she barbecues ribs she adds ½ cup catsup and about a tablespoon of honey to it. It is a pretty good oriental barbeque sauce.
