South seas honey fruit sauce

½teaspoonSalt
½teaspoonDried thyme
¼cupHoney
¼cupCider vinegar
¾cupChicken broth or water
1can(11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
½cupPineapple tidbits, drained
¼cupMaraschino cherries, drained and halved

Directions

I found some recipes in the 4-9-97 edition of The Clarion-Ledger that you might enjoy.

Combine cornstarch, salt and thyme in small saucepan; mix well. Combine honey, vinegar and broth; mix well. Stir honey mixture into cornstarch mixture; cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens. Add drained fruits; heat and stir gently about 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
