Honey plum sauces

Ingredients

2 | cups | Plums pitted -- chopped |
½ | cup | Honey |
¼ | cup | Lemon juice |
2 | tablespoons | Onion -- minced |
1 | teaspoon | Lemon zest -- grated |
½ | teaspoon | Fresh ginger root |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Cloves -- ground |
¼ | teaspoon | Allspice |
Salt and pepper -- to taste |
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 min. or until plums are completely cooked.
Puree mixture in a blender or food processor. Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more honey if nessary. return to saucepan and simmer for 5 min.
