Honey plum sauces

Ingredients

| 2 | cups | Plums pitted -- chopped |
| ½ | cup | Honey |
| ¼ | cup | Lemon juice |
| 2 | tablespoons | Onion -- minced |
| 1 | teaspoon | Lemon zest -- grated |
| ½ | teaspoon | Fresh ginger root |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Cloves -- ground |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Allspice |
| Salt and pepper -- to taste | ||
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 min. or until plums are completely cooked.
Puree mixture in a blender or food processor. Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more honey if nessary. return to saucepan and simmer for 5 min.
