Schlemmertopf meat loaf

Quantity Ingredient
2 pounds Ground beef
1 each Egg; slightly beaten
¼ cup Minced onion
teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
cup Condensed vegetable soup
2 cups Cereal flakes; crushed

Soak lid of glazed clay cooker. Mix ingredients thoroughly in the order listed. Shape into loaf and place in cooker, cover. Put into cold oven and turn temperature to 425F. Bake for 1½ hours. From Schlemmertopf Recipe book.
