Saucy meat loaves

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ pounds Ground beef
1 cup Breadcrumbs, soft
1 medium Onion; finely chopped
1 \N Egg; beaten
1¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 cup Tomato sauce; divided
2 tablespoons Sugar, brown
2 tablespoons Vinegar
2 tablespoons Mustard, prepared
½ cup Water
\N \N Rice; hot, cooked

Combine first 6 ingredients and ½ cup tomato sauce in a large mixing bowl; mix well, and shape into 6 individual meat loaves. Place in a greased 9" square baking pan.

Combine ½ cup tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, and wate; mix well, and pour over meat loaves. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, basting occasionally. Serve on rice.
