Ram tough chili

Ingredients

2poundsBeef chuck, coarsely ground
1tablespoonOil
1canTomato sauce (8 oz.)
1mediumOnion, finely chopped
1teaspoonGarlic powder OR
5eachesCloves Fresh garlic, minced
¼cupChili powder
1teaspoonOregano
teaspoonSalt
2teaspoonsGround cumin
¼teaspoonTabasco sauce
½teaspoonCayenne pepper

Directions

Brown meat in oil in a covered 2 quart pan. Add tomato sauce, onion and garlic powder. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water if too thick. Serve with side dishes of pinto beans, chopped onions and grated cheddar cheese. Serves 6.
