Simple chili

Ingredients

| 3 | pounds | Coarse ground chili meat |
| 1 | tablespoon | Onion salt |
| 2 | tablespoons | Garlic powder |
| 3 | tablespoons | Chili powder |
| 2 | tablespoons | Ground Cumin |
| 3 | tablespoons | Tabasco sauce |
| 15 | ounces | Can Tomato Sauce |
| 15 | ounces | Can Whole Tomatoes |
| 7 | ounces | Can Tomato Paste |
| 15 | ounces | Water |
| OPTIONAL - - | ||
| ½ | tablespoon | Cornstarch, for thickening |
Directions
Brown chili meat, then pour off fat/grease. Run hot water over meat to remove additional grease. (Using a strainer, collander or sieve helps)
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring. Reduce to low heat and simmer 2 hours covered. Chop whole tomatoes as they cook.
Add the cornstarch during the last ½ hour to thicken the liquid if needed.
Serve with saltine crackers.
