Patio pork chops

Ingredients

6Rib chops, 1/2\" thick (up to 8)
2teaspoonsGinger
1teaspoonGarlic powder
1teaspoonSalt
3tablespoonsShortening
2Chicken bouillon cubes
1cupGinger ale
2packs(10 oz.) frozen baby lima beans
¼cupDiced pimento
1can(8 oz.) baby onions

Directions

Combine seasonings and rub on chops. Brown chops in hot fat. Combine bouillon cubes and ginger ale and pour over chops. Simmer for ½ hour.

Cook beans just until barely tender. Drain. Combine beans, pimento, and onions in 9 X 13 baking dish. Arrange chops on mixture and pour brown sauce from skillet over all. Cover with foil and bake 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Posted to Recipe Archive - 23 Mar 97 by ted by: ajewell@...
