Microwave caramel fudge

| 1½ | cup | Sugar |
| ⅓ | cup | Milk |
| ⅓ | cup | Butter or margarine |
| 1 | pack | (14-oz) caramels |
| ¾ | cup | Chopped nuts |
Directions
In a large glass bowl, combine sugar, milk and butter, Microwave 2 minutes on high. Mix well and mircowave for 5 minutes more on high, stirring twice during cooking. Add caramels; microwave 45 to 60 seconds on high. Beat until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour into a lightly greased 8-inch square dish. Cool. Cut into pieces.
