Italian sausage sandwich

Ingredients

| 1 | Long French bread; (1 or 6 small) | |
| 1½ | pounds | Italian link sausage |
| 2 | Bell peppers | |
| 1 | large | Onion |
| 1 | large | Spoon cooking oil |
| 1 | cup | Water |
| 1 | tablespoon | Cornstarch |
| Salt and pepper to taste | ||
Directions
In large skillet fry sausage in oil; remove sausage. Fry seasonings until tender. Mix cornstarch in water (cool). Add to skillet of seasonings. Cook 3 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly. Add sausage and stir. You will have sausage with a sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Spoon on French bread.
A little sauce and sausage. Double water and cornstarch for more.
