Irresistible peach almond crumble

4cupsSliced peeled peaches or nectarines
2teaspoonsCornstarch
cupPeach or apricot preserves
½cupLarge flake rolled oats
½cupAll-purpose flour
cupPacked brown sugar
cupSliced blanched almonds
¼teaspoonGround ginger
cupButter, melted

Directions

PREHEAT OVEN TO 375øF

8 INCH BAKING DISH, GREASED

TOPPING

Fruit: In a bowl toss peaches with cornstarch; stir in preserves. Spread in baking dish.

Topping: In a bowl combine rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, almonds and ginger. Pour butter over; stir in to make coarse crumbs. Sprinkle with fruit.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until topping is golden and filling is bubbly.
