Ingredients

10Thin plain soup sticks
5slicesSoft white bread
½teaspoonGarlic paste
1teaspoonMint leaves finely chopped
1teaspoonCoriander leaves finely chopped
½teaspoonPoppy seeds
1tablespoonGrated cheese
½teaspoonPaprika or 1/4 teaspoon red chilli
; crushed coarsely
Salt to taste
1tablespoonDry bread crumbs
2tablespoonsMilk

Directions

Remove stiff crusts of bread slices if any.

Mix all ingredients except sticks, slices, milk.

Cut each slice into 2 rectangular halves.

Sprinkle some milk on a slice, allow to moisten.

Press gently with a rolling pin to thin down.

Place one stick at one long end of rectangle.

Roll carefully, to cover stick with slice.

Roll this in the mixture, careful not to open it.

Arrange on a greased baking sheet.

Bake in a hot oven, at 180oC till slices are crisp and golden.

Serve hot with soups.
