Herbed pecan rub

Ingredients

½cupPecans -- broken
3Cloves garlic -- cut up
½cupFresh oregano
½cupFresh thyme
½teaspoonLemon peel -- finely
Shredded
½teaspoonBlack pepper
¼teaspoonSalt
¼cupCooking oil

Directions

In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients EXCEPT oil.

Cover and blend several times, scaping sides, until a paste forms.

With machine running, gradually add oil until mixture forms a paste.

Rub onto fish or chicken.

Makes ½ cup, enough for 3 pounds of meat.
