Herbed pecan rub

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Pecans -- broken
3 \N Cloves garlic -- cut up
½ cup Fresh oregano
½ cup Fresh thyme
½ teaspoon Lemon peel -- finely
\N \N Shredded
½ teaspoon Black pepper
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ cup Cooking oil

In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients EXCEPT oil.

Cover and blend several times, scaping sides, until a paste forms.

With machine running, gradually add oil until mixture forms a paste.

Rub onto fish or chicken.

Makes ½ cup, enough for 3 pounds of meat.
