Herbed pecan rub

Ingredients

| ½ | cup | Pecans -- broken |
| 3 | Cloves garlic -- cut up | |
| ½ | cup | Fresh oregano |
| ½ | cup | Fresh thyme |
| ½ | teaspoon | Lemon peel -- finely |

| ½ | teaspoon | Black pepper |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | cup | Cooking oil |
Directions
In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients EXCEPT oil.
Cover and blend several times, scaping sides, until a paste forms.
With machine running, gradually add oil until mixture forms a paste.
Rub onto fish or chicken.
Makes ½ cup, enough for 3 pounds of meat.
