Garlic barbecue sauce

Yield: 3 Cups

Measure Ingredient
1 Head garlic (about 20 cloves minced)
¼ cup Butter or margarine
¼ cup Vegetable oil
2 cups Water
1 cup Catsup
¼ cup Chopped onion
¼ cup Packed light brown sugar
¼ cup Cider vinegar
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon Red pepper sauce
½ teaspoon Chili powder
¼ teaspoon Salt

Cook garlic in butter and oil in small skillet over medium-low heat until golden and caramelized, about 30 minutes.

Heat remaining ingredients to boiling in medium saucepan; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Stir in garlic; simmer 5 minutes. Yield: 3 cups Source: Four Seasons Cookbook. Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin.msn@...
