Yield: 1 servings
|1 cup||Rice, washed|
|Heavy cream, whipped|
|Sugar to sweeten|
|Few nuts, chopped|
Put milk and water in a saucepan and heat. Put rice into the double boiler and pour the hot liquid over it, adding the butter and salt.
Heat the mass, then add vanilla. When the rice has taken up all the liquid and is puffed up, arrange it in a ring on a plate and chill.
When ready to serve, fill the center of the ring with whipped cream mixture.
Many of the recipes in this collection did not contain amounts or oven temperatures. I have typed them in as they appear in the book, typos and all.
