|1 cup||Finely chopped nuts|
|½ cup||Corn syrup|
|⅔ cup||Brown sugar|
Heat oven to 375. Blend flour & nuts. Bring syrup, shortening & sugar to boil in saucepan over med heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; gradually stir in flour & nuts. Drop batter by spoonfuls about 3" apart on lightly greased sheet. Bake only 8-9 cookies at a time.
Bake 5-6 minutes; remove from oven & allow to stand 5 minutes before removing from sheet.
