Ella's fudge

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Sugar
⅔ cup Evaporated milk
12 Marshmallows
½ cup Butter
Few grains salt (optional)
1 pack (6-oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips (or butterscotch)
1 cup Chopped nuts
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Mix in heavy 2-quart saucepan sugar, milk, marshmallows, butter and salt.

Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat and bring to heavy boil. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add nuts and vanilla. Spread in 8-inch square pan. (Christmas is not complete without Ella's fudge!) Makes 30 pieces.
