Measure | Ingredient |

2 cups | Sugar |
⅔ cup | Evaporated milk |
12 \N | Marshmallows |
½ cup | Butter |
\N \N | Few grains salt (optional) |
1 pack | (6-oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips (or butterscotch) |
1 cup | Chopped nuts |
1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
Mix in heavy 2-quart saucepan sugar, milk, marshmallows, butter and salt.
Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat and bring to heavy boil. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add nuts and vanilla. Spread in 8-inch square pan. (Christmas is not complete without Ella's fudge!) Makes 30 pieces.
