Dave's favorite jello mold

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 ounces Gelatin -- any flavor
2 tablespoons Sugar
⅛ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Water -- boiling
1 can Peach Slices In Syrup
2 teaspoons Lemon Juice -- (or lime
3 ounces Cream Cheese -- softened OR
½ cup Sour Cream

Dissolve jello, sugar, and salt in boiling water.

Drain peaches, and add water to juice to make 1 cup of liquid. Add liquid to jello. Reserve ½ cup jello for topping. Blend cheese (or sour cream) with ½ cup of the jello until smooth. Pour into mold. Mix rest of jello with peaches, pour into mold (an 8 x 8 x 2, or 2 quart mold). Chill until firm.

NOTE: reduce liquid slightly if using sour cream.
