Crusty pound cake

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Sugar
2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Shortening
6 Eggs

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Gradually add flour then vanilla. Bake in a tube or Bundt pan at 300* for 1 hour or until done. I usually bake it about 1¼- 1 ½ hours.

I also add a dash or lemon flavoring. I'm sure you could use any type of flavoring you like.
