Cranberry sauce - for holiday meringues - dkp

Ingredients

| ½ | cup | Sugar |
| 2 | tablespoons | Cornstarch |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 2 | cups | Cranberry juice cocktail |
| 1 | tablespoon | Lemon juice |
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan; stir well. Place over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Boil 1 minute; remove from heat. Cover and chill thoroughly.
