Cranberry sauce - for holiday meringues

Yield: 2 Cups

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
⅛ teaspoon Salt
2 cups Cranberry juice cocktail
1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan; stir well. Place over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Boil 1 minute; remove from heat. Cover and chill thoroughly.
