Chocolate chip brownies

Yield: 16 servings

Measure Ingredient
⅓ cup Shortening
1 cup Sugar
2 \N Eggs
3 tablespoons Cocoa
¾ cup Flour
½ teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Nuts -- chopped
½ cup Chocolate chips
½ teaspoon Vanilla

Cream together shortening, sugar, and eggs. Sift dry ingredients together and add. Stir in nuts, chips, and vanilla. Spread in a greased 9x9 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cool completely in pan before cutting.
