Celery and nut sandwich

Ingredients

| ⅛ | teaspoon | Pepper, black |
| 1 | teaspoon | Lemon juice; freshly squeezd |
| ¼ | cup | Mayonnaise |
| 16 | slices | Bread |
| Butter (or marg.) | ||
| Lettuce | ||
Directions
Combine celry, nuts, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and mayonnaise.
Mix well. Spread between bread slices, whick have been spread thinly with butter. Place a leaf of lettuce on top of the filling for each sandwich.
