Butterscotch chews

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Melted butter
1 cup Brown sugar
1 Egg
1 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Nuts; (optional)

Combine the melted butter, brown sugar and egg. Combine dry ingredients and stir into butter mixture. Fold in nuts. Pour into a greased 8X8 pan. Bake at 325'F for 35 minutes.
