Yield: 8 Servings
|4 ounces||Bleu cheese; crumbled|
|1 \N||Jar (16-oz) Hellmann's mayonnaise|
|¼ teaspoon||Garlic powder|
|1½ tablespoon||Monosodium glutamate|
|\N \N||Coarsely ground pepper to taste|
|2 tablespoons||Salad oil|
In a bowl, mix Bleu cheese and mayonnaise. Add water, garlic powder, MSG, pepper and oil. Mix well. Chill before serving. A small amount of water can be added if dressing is too thick.
For a creamy Bleu cheese dressing, mix all ingredients together in a blender until smooth. Keeps well in refrigerator. Yield: 2 cups.
