Bean pot limas

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2½ cup Baby Lima Beans
2 teaspoons Salt
6 cups Water
½ teaspoon Dry Mustard
¼ pounds Bacon; Sliced into squares
⅓ cup Dark Molasses
2 cups Hot Bean Liquid
⅓ cup Chili Sauce
1 medium Sliced Onion; (1 1/2 tsp)
1 tablespoon Vinegar

Soak beans in 6 cups water overnight. Simmer beans 30 minutes. Drain, reserving liquid. Combine all ingredients. Pour into 2 quart casserole.

Cover and bake in 300°F oven for 2½ hours. Uncover for last 30 minutes of baking.
