Barbecue beef sandwiches

Measure Ingredient
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
1 pounds Lean ground beef
½ cup Onion -- chopped
1 medium Green pepper -- chopped
¾ cup Catsup
¼ cup Water
1 tablespoon Sugar
2 tablespoons Prepared mustard
1 Ablespoon
Salt and pepper to taste
Hamburger buns
Vinegar

In a skillet, melt butter over medium high heat. Brown the beef, onion and green pepper. Add all remaining ingredients except buns.

Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes. Serve on buns. Yield: about 6 servings Recipe By : Country Woman
