Banana nut bread #1

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
⅓ cup Shortening
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1¾ cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Baking soda
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Chopped nuts
1 cup Mashed ripe bananas

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients with nuts. Add bananas. Pour into a well-greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
