Yield: 8 Servings
|1||Stick butter or margarine|
|1 cup||(scant) sugar|
|1 teaspoon||Baking soda|
|1 cup||Chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)|
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and blend well. Sift flour and soda. Add to egg mixture. Stir in mashed bananas and nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for one hour and 15 minutes. Cool at least 20 minutes before removing and slicing.
