Banana bread #01

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Vegetable oil
1½ cup Sugar
2 Eggs; well beaten
¼ teaspoon Salt
1½ cup Sifted flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
⅓ cup Buttermilk or sour cream
3 Very ripe bananas; mashed
1 cup Walnuts or pecans

Cream oil & sugar. Add eggs & salt & mix well. Add flour & soda combined with buttermilk alternately. Add bananas. Fold in nuts. Grease 2 loaf pans.

Pour in mixture & bake about 45 minutes at 350. Makes 2 loaves.
