Velvet waffles

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
4 teaspoons Baking powder
3 \N Eggs; separated
1¾ cup Milk
½ cup Wesson oil

Sift dry ingredients together. Beat egg yolks until light, stir milk into egg yolks, then add oil. Gradually stir this mixture into the dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry, and fold them into flour mixture. Bake on a hot waffle iron. Yield: 6 waffles.
