Measure | Ingredient |

2 cups | Plain flour; sifted |
3 teaspoons | Baking powder |
1 teaspoon | Baking soda |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
2 cups | Buttermilk |
4 \N | Eggs; well beaten |
1 cup | Butter or margarine; melted |
Sift first 4 ingredients. Combine milk and eggs; add to dry ingredients.
Beat with a mixer at high speed, until smooth. Stir in melted butter. Bake in a waffle iron. We make batter the night before and refrigerate.
