Tuna & tomato pasta

Ingredients

425gramsTin tuna (in springwater)
1Finely chopped onion
1teaspoonMinced garlic
½mediumCapsicum diced
8mediumsMushrooms sliced
410gramsTin tomatoes chopped
4tablespoonsTomato paste
1teaspoonMixed herbs
pinchBasil, salt and sugar

Directions

Saute onion and garlic until transparent, then add capsicum and mushrooms and fry until soft. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, herbs, basil, salt and sugar, and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Lastly add the drained tuna and simmer for a further 10 minutes.

This pasta suace can then be used on any preferred type of pasta.
