Place double thickness of tin foil, shiney side in, on table. Shape meat into a pattie, about ¾ - 1 inch thick and place on foil. Slice potato, carrot, and onion into about ⅛ inch rings. Place on top of meat. Add butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to your liking. Fold first layer of foil around ingredients, making sure ends are sealed.

Make sure shiney side is in. Package should be no thicker than 1½ ~ 2 inches thick. Wrap in opposite direction with second sheet of foil, again making sure shiney side is in, and ends are sealed. Cook on hot coals of camp fire for 13 minutes. Flip package over and continue cooking for 12 minute. Remove package from coals and dinner is served. ( It is suggested to NOT delete any ingredient in package as one needs the other for cooking purposes. ) Origin: Learned while in the Scouting movement Shared by: Rusty Stevens Submitted By SHARON STEVENS On 03-08-95
