Sweet and sour hamburgers

1canPineapple chunks; juice of
3tablespoonsPacked cornstarch
½teaspoonSalt
1tablespoonSoy sauce
poundsHamburger
½cupMinced onion
½cupSliced green bell pepper
1canPineapple chunks (from above)

OTHER INGREDIENTS

Fry hamburger patties smaller & thicker than for buns; brown well. Combine sauce ingredients & cook until clear & slightly thickened, stirring often.

Add meat & simmer over low heat for 30 minutes or until tender. Add remaining ingredients & cook for 2 minutes. Serve over hot rice.
