2 cups | Cucumbers, thinly sliced |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
1 cup | Onions, thinly sliced Dressing: |
¼ cup | Vinegar |
1 tablespoon | Water |
1 tablespoon | Honey or sugar |
½ teaspoon | Dill weed |
¼ teaspoon | Coarse black pepper |
Salad: Place 2 cups of thinly sliced cucumbers into a bowl. Sprinkle lightly with ½ tsp salt. Let stand for at least 30 minutes. Drain well and add 1 cup thinly sliced onions. Dressing: Combine together - vinegar, water, honey or sugar, dill weed, and pepper. Toss over vegetables. Chill for one hour before serving.
