Swedish coffee-snack cake from mix

1Egg, slightly beaten
cupMilk
tablespoonShortening
3tablespoonsChopped nuts mixed -with-
1tablespoonSugar -and-
1teaspoonCinnamon

Directions

In 8-inch layer-cake or square pan, stir cake mix, cinnamon & cloves with rubber spatula until well blended. Stir in egg, milk & short until well blended. Scrape down sides of pan.
