Spinach with basil (shaker)

4 | pounds | Fresh spinach |
6 | eaches | Sprigs parsley; chopped |
4 | eaches | Green onions; chopped |
¼ | cup | Butter or margarine |
2 | teaspoons | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Pepper |
1 | teaspoon | Dried whole basil |
Directions
Remove stems from spinach; wash leaves thoroughly, and tear into pieces. Place all ingredients in a large Dutch oven (do not add water). Cover, and cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until spinach is limp.
