Spicy ham loaf

Ingredients

¾cupSyrup, dark corn
2teaspoonsMustard, dry
cupVinegar
3cupsHam; ground (about 1-1/2lbs)
2cupsPork; ground (1 lb.)
1cupBreadcrumbs, fine dry
2Eggs
½cupApple juice
1tablespoonOnion, minced
½teaspoonMustard; dry
½teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
¼teaspoonPepper

Directions

Combine corn syrup, 2 teaspoon dry mustard, and vinegar in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove syrup from heat, and set aside.

Combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Place meat mixture in a greased 13x9x2" baking pan, and shape into 12x4" loaf. Bake at 300 degrees for 1-½ to 2 hours, basting every 15 minutes with syrup mixture.
