Blend in 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar and ¼ tsp salt Cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly Add ¼ cup milk, continue until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat Blend 2½ cup sifted confectioners sugar Add ½ tsp vanilla.
