Chocolate frosting

Measure Ingredient
7 \N 1-Oz Unsweetened Chocolate
\N \N Squares
½ \N Stick Butter Or Margarine
2½ cup Confectioner's Sugar
½ cup Milk
\N drop (Few) Vanilla Extract

Melt chocolate squares in a saucepan. Add butter or margarine and simmer for about 1 min over low heat. Add powdered sugar. Then add milk, and, stirring constantly, simmer for about 2 to 3 mins. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Let cool before frosting cake.

Yield: enough for 1 chocolate layer cake.
