Ingredients

| 28 | ounces | Crushed tomatoes |
| 1½ | cup | Ketchup |
| 1 | cup | Fresh orange juice |
| 6 | tablespoons | Fresh lemon juice |
| 6 | tablespoons | Red wine vinegar |
| ½ | cup | Water |
| 2 | tablespoons | Liquid smoke |
| ¼ | cup | Honey |
| ½ | cup | Packed brown sugar |
| 3 | tablespoons | Crystallized ginger -- |
| Finely chopped | ||
| 2 | tablespoons | Dark molasses |
| 1 | tablespoon | Worcestershire sauce |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Tabasco sauce |
| 2 | tablespoons | Chile powder |
| 1 | tablespoon | Ground coriander |
| 1 | tablespoon | Dry mustard |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
Directions
Sautee onion until golden. Add garlic for one minute. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes stirring frequently.
Hmm... I would replace the water with a nice malty beer. Paulaner Oktoberfest or Dos Equiis. And use a couple of chipotles in adobo instead of liquid smoke. They use the jock straps of the volunteer fire department to make that stuff.
