Line 15x10" cookie sheet with foil. Spread soda crackers over entire pan.
Mix together butter and brown sugar; bring to a boil over low heat and boil 3 min. Pour over crackers. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 mins. Crackers will float to the top. Sprinkle chips evenly over top. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top; press with back of wooden spoon. Chill until set (at least 3 hrs).
Break into pieces.
